    Hi,
A/R is a very fun job. This is one part of my job that I enjoyed the most when I was doing Accounting. Although this part of accounting is truly not very hard and very specific, very  simple it doesn't pay a lot.

If you know A/P as well and you can do these two jobs, you may get a little bit more. Big companies like HP they have separate people to do A/R,  A/P, Collections, Billing, etc... This type of company will give you 10 to 12 per hour - but of course changes in the business market could change salaries too. They only talk to a certain agency for these jobs - you will not get benefit just like normal jobs are and there's no room for acquiring other useful job related experience.

Smaller companies will start at the same, but you have to do other part of accounting because the volume of accounts are not at vast as those very  big companies.
