Take cover off remove gasket and replace with new one and then put cover back on and then you are done.

INCORRECT answer. They are speaking of a valve cover gasket, & not a head gasket. It is NOT that simple. You will remove the valve cover gasket, then the head itself, take note of the timing belt (or chain) on the overhead cam & it's location at the time of removal. Take your head to a machine shop for inspection, & a valve job done at the time You should clean the top surface of the engine, also inspecting for cracks. Replace the head gasket and head using a torque wrench to foot pounds.
