Why At High Altitudes Boiling Point Water Would Not Reach 100 Deg Celsius?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Water boils at 100 degrees at 15psi air pressure, basically at sea level. As altitude increases, air pressure drops and the boiling point reduces. In space, water boils as soon as it thaws from being ice.
