Is Hotel Accommodation Expensive In Pristina?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Compared to the rest of the Balkans and much of southeastern Europe, hotel accommodation is expensive in Pristina and there is a relatively small selection of hotels. Most visitors are, in fact, not tourists, but business people and diplomats on official visits, and as such budget, tourist-friendly accommodation can be hard to find.

One of the largest hotels is the five-star Grand Hotel Pristina, with 370 rooms. Single rooms start at €75, while double rooms are €110 per night. This hotel was formerly owned by the Yugoslav state, but has since been privatized and renovated.

Hotel Afa is located a little further from the city centre, but its prices are quite a lot lower than those at most larger hotels in centre of town. Single rooms start at €40 and also include a breakfast.

Hotel Victory is one of the newer, more modern hotels in the city centre and it serves primarily diplomats and other people on official visits. As such, the prices tend to be rather high, with single rooms starting at €100 per night and double rooms going for €140.
