    I Don't know but who ever said Treason can Not Be Punished should be punished.

      Treason never prospers - for if it prosper, who dare call it treason? This is the basic answer - if you win the war, then you make the rules, and you become a glorious freedom fighter, not a treasonous terrorist. See the early history of Israel, where David ben Gurian was unquestionably guilty of treason.and was rewarded by becoming Prime Minister of Israel.

      Indeed, the Founding Fathers of the USA were equally guilty of treason against the British Crown and would undoubtedly have been hanged had the war been lost. However, this was a fine lesson in how it's impossible to win an overseas war - Is America remembering this lesson?
