When my dad or mom smokes he comes and smells it and tries to dig the ground why is that ?

Second hand smoke is as dangerous if not more dangerous than smoking. So your cat has become addicted. And if it was no longer exposed to smoke may have the same mood swings as a person trying to quit. This is harmful to the cat as well as all those who are exposed to second hand smoke. That is why here they have made it illegal to smoke if there is a child in the car.
