A Thermal conductor is an object that can conduct heat through itself. These objects or elements heat up quickly and also heaten up their surroundings.
These elements have a strong molecular bond which allows the molecular vibrations of the to travel in a quick manner.
Normally metals are good thermal conductors. They are used for conduction of heat and electricity in different objects. Their tight atomic structure allows them to be strong conductors of heat and electricity.
The best thermal conductors are considered to be carbon and diamonds.
