Is It Possible To Be At Risk Of A Stroke Even If You Never Smoke And If You Have Never Been Overweight?
Answers
It is possible for a person to suffer from a stroke even if they have never been overweight and if they do not smoke. This is because, although your risk is drastically reduced, the arteries can still become clogged and circulatory problems can often be the cause. Debris in the arteries is often the main cause of strokes and often the debris can travel further up to the lungs and brain. This means that the problem has to be seen to as soon as possible.
You are more at risk of having a minor stroke, though if left untreated you could potentially end up having a major one which could have fatal consequences. So it is always better to look after your body and check that your circulatory system is working OK and that there are no problems. Healthy eating and regular exercise are the best ways to cut down on the risk of having a stroke, though as mentioned, even then you still may have one.
