    Seattle is situated between Puget Sound, an inlet of the Pacific Ocean, and Lake Washington. To its west lies the Olympic mountains, to its east are Lake Sammamish, the Newcastle Hills, and the Cascade Range, which lie beyond the Lake Washington and the Eastside suburbs. Seattle offers a lot of opportunities like sailing, skiing, bicycling, camping, and hiking.

    It represents Rome a lot in terms of location. As in this city lies on seven hills, namely, First Hill, Capitol Hill, Queen Anne Hill, Magnolia, Beacon Hill, Mount Baker, and Crown Hill. The water comprises of four bodies namely Lake Union, Salmon Bay, Portage Bay, and Union Bay, which are all bisected due to the Lake Washington Ship Canal.

    Seattle comprises of a total area of 369.2 square kilometers, of which 217.2 square kilometers comprises of land and 152.0 square kilometers is covered by water.
