When Do Turtles Lay Their Eggs?

Turtles generally lay theirs eggs on land, and they do this by digging a hole into the ground and then laying those eggs into the hole and later they cover it back again with mud. The mother then leaves the eggs there to hatch. The eggs generally began to hatch with the help of the sun. The eggs that receive the maximum heat generally hatch into a female one and the one that is the deepest as well as the coolest in the nest hatches into a male one. It is only after 40 years that the mother will come back to the same place mate and then lay their eggs again. Most of the turtles live up to 1000 years and more.
