Why Is My Bamboo Turning Yellow From The Top Down?
I have a bamboo I received about two years ago, three pieces ornamentally arranged with one wrapped around two in a glass jar filled with rocks. I don't clean the rocks often , but I've never had a problem before. The yellowing on the wrapped plant is level with the straight. The tops are covered in some sort of enamel where they were cut. The yellow parts are not soft or fuzzy.

It could be a iron deficiency. Check with your local garden center and see if they Cary a product called Ironite. You won't need much. It may also be a good idea to remove the plants from the container and wash both the container and the rocks with a light bleach solution. Re-pot with rocks. Add a small amount of the IRonite. Probably just 1/4tsp.
