The game 'Streets of Rage' was released in the year 1991 in Japan. The game is an action game which is also known as 'Beat 'em up' as it involved a lot of fights and punches instead of any guns. The game was made for the Sega gaming systems which included Sega Game Gear, Sega Master System and Sega Genesis. The first part of the game was such a big success, the creators of the game came out with two more parts with the same name. The game was more popularly known as 'Bare Knuckle' in Japan. The fourth instalment of the game was about to be released too but the game company went through some problems which is the reason why they could not release the game.
The game was a third person shooter game which was a side scrolling game where the player had to go to the right of the screen instead of going ahead like other games.
