    The daily calorie intake for a 12-year-old should be a bit less than 2000 calories. You can consume less, but since you are at a growing stage you need more energy. However, if you do lots of sports you need more energy so you can consume up to 3000, but only if your body is telling you, you need it. It is a good idea not to overeat at this age, as since this is your growing age if you eat to much you could end up overweight or eating little could lead to anorexia.
