    Spider bites in dogs don't cause serious problems but two kinds of spiders called black widow and brown recluse which are poisonous can cause some medical emergency. Signs of these spider bites are swelling on the bite site like muzzle, paws or belly, ulcerative lesions, and hair loss at bite site.

    Black widow spider bite can cause paralysis, seizures, drooling, pain,spasm, vomiting, joint pains, increased thirst and lethargy. Black widow and brown recluse spider bites are medical emergency and need vet visit immediately.
