How Can I Drain My Washer Myself Until I Fix It?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Sounds like your pump or the hose going to or from the pump is clogged up with something such as a sock, (if the timer is still working and washer is spinning out), or the pump motor may have burned out. If you can hear the pump when the washer is on the drain cycle, would think that it is probably just clogged up, but if you continue to use it with the pump clogged, there is a good chance that you will burn the pump motor up.
You could use a big bucket and a siphoning hose to drain the washer.
