Why Is Fascism Considered An Evil Phenomenon?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

By contemporary standards as well as even archaic criteria of those who believed in personal liberty and the theory of individualism, fascism is a thoroughly evil system, which deprives an individual of the right to lead a life in accordance with his own will and rather coerces him to live a life that is appropriate by society norms, even if he does not like it.  In other words, fascism is one theory that believes strongly in national interest and disregards individual rights and even humanity issues in this quest of patriotism.

The cynosure of significance in fascism is the superiority of the nation and the state as a whole, mainly emphasizing on collectivism, ignoring the vitality of maintaining an individual identity.  Even literally fascism is derived from the Latin word 'fasces' that means bundles.  The very comprehension is a literal metaphor that symbolizes the political disposition of fascism, accentuating the importance of groups and eclipsing the importance of individualism.
