    Total Quality Management is basically a business Management strategy. It is aimed at embedding quality systems in all processes undertaken in an organization.

    TQM is a combination of three areas of management. It involves the organization in its totality, the quality techniques and also the management techniques. It is centered on quality and is undertaken by participation of all the members of the organization. It is composed of four processes:

    - Kaizen
    - Kansei
    - Atarimae Hinshitsu
    - Miryokuteki Hinshitsu

    It has basically evolved by the Japanese school of Management and deals with organization wide and consistent management of quality.
