What Do You Know About A Bass Habitat?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Different kind of bass needs different habitats to exist in different environments. The white perch bass can stand a range of salinity. They live in fresh water as well as full-fledged salty water like in bays and backwaters. Your habitat should be like a pond which connects to the sea. White bass reside in large and small rivers and lakes. They prefer clear water. It is difficult to make a white bass habitat, as it is difficult for them to inhabit in lakes or water bodies smaller than 300 acres. Even if they do, a large population of white bass cannot sustain in a water body smaller then that. A white bass habitat should be deeper than 10 feet with gravels and rock rubble reefs so the fish can spawn on them.
