Who Was Cassius Clay?

Answer Question

Cassius Clay born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. and born on the 17th of January 1942, an Olympic gold medallist, winner of three world heavy weight championships, and given the title of "Sportsman of the Year" by the magazine Sports Illustrated, is the former name of the world's greatest boxing legend Muhammad Ali.

Known for the controversies surrounding him as much as for his fighting style, Ali would intimidate his opponents both in and outside the ring. He had the confidence in him to tell his opponent what round he would be floored in. He was known for his speed, he employed to both dodge the opponent's moves and met out quick jabs. He seemed to have a never ending reserve of Stamina. He courted controversy when he converted to Islam and said he did not need a slave name and again when he refused the draft on conscientious grounds saying that his religion forbade him to kill.
