Does Steeping Green Tea To Long Loose Any Health Benefits? I Like Drinking It As Ice Tea.

Answer Question

Different teas have different brewing times and temperatures. A good green tea can be achieved by steeping in 80-85 Celsius or 180 Fahrenheit for approximately 3 minutes. If you brew it for too long you will receive more caffeine and less Antioxidants. Hope this helps : D

To make a good green tea. Use only hot water (do not boil) let steep for about 2hrs. Add the sugar (only) at the start of the steeping. This way you will not loose any of the value of the tea (all teas should be made this way) there is no bitterness this way. After the 2 hours add whatever flavoring you like. "Enjoy"
