How Do I Register To Vote?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

In order to vote you need to register to the electoral roll. Registration can be done online or you can go to your local council/constituency office for the form.

If you're having trouble getting credit then being on the electoral roll can help. Not being on the electoral roll can in some cases give you a poor credit rating.

Once you've registered you'll be able to vote at the next local or genral elections in your area. You will receive a voting card in the post which you must take with you when you go to vote. On vote day polling stations will be setup in lots of places. Normally polling stations are set up in local buildings such as schools.
