It is fattening if you eat it in large amounts. But a little here and there isn't going to put you off the charts for cholesterol levels. Hope this helps.

You just want to be careful on how much you eat of eat.  They the health nut people will tell you that it is very bad even it just a little, but the skin if cooked just right is delish.  They say that the dark meat of the chicken is not good so stay with the white meat of the chicken you will be better off.

Humans do not digest animal fats easily.  Most animal fats are passed thrthe body and never absorbed.

Consider carnvores versus herbivores.  Different diets give different traits, positive and negative.

Meat eaters are generally lean animals, lots of muscle, little fat.  Built for short bursts of speed, but due to little body fat they have less stored energy reserves, thus they have less endurance.

Herbivores, critters like cattle, are higher body fat than meat eaters.  They have proportionately less muscle and greater fat.  They are built unable to attain speeds such as meat-eaters.. But able to maintain their top speed for much longer periods.

Grains, grasses, vegetables.. All have fats that we digest and absorb easily.  Starchy foods, potatoes, breads, and so forth, will add weight faster than fatty meat will.  Being Omnivores, we need a balance between the two types of foods to maintain health.  In spite of what vegans claim.. We ARE meant to eat meat as well as veggies.  Evidence of this is our teeth, in which we possess canines (the sign of a meat eater) as well as molars (the sign of a vegetation chewer).
