Where Is Draycote In England?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

It's a small hamlet in Warwickshire. Draycote along with Bourton-on-Dunsmore forms a segment of the civil Parish of Bourton and Draycote.

This hamlet is located in a valley and situated in the west of Draycote water reservoir, which is named after the village. The area is quite remote and has only one road leading up to it which also loops back towards Bourton.

You can find the remains of the Rugby to Leamington Spa railway line just to the west of Draycote. Now a part of the railway line is being converted into a cycle way as part of the National Cycle Network. Cycle ways are designated for the use of cyclist only and all the motorised traffics is kept out of the area.
