Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Many underdeveloped countries government have fear that the foreign direct investment in the country may subject to the loss of economic independence in the country. They worry about those key decisions that will lead to have an affect on the host's country economy.  Many European nation showed the same view about the foreign investment especially those countries which are geographically and technologically less developed. Especially European countries have some fears of national and economic independence by the United States companies who are making their investments in the Europe. However these same comments are given by the United States companies against the European and Japanese.

In 1990 these words were expressed by the United States companies. The major fear among the counties is that if the foreign companies will take over their national assets then they can misuse their rights and can exploit the countries. Some years back this was the thinking of many French governments against the United States but at that time United States neglected that by advocating the free trade in the world. So many economists say that these fair are useless and a single company cannot have control on the entire country. So these fears have no serious grounds.
