Is it possible to become allergic to something you we're never allergic to before in your life?

    Yes, you have to be exposed to an allergen more than once for you to have an allergic reaction to it. Your body identifies the allergen with an earlier exposure and reacts to it it with a later exposure.

      As your body ages, it also changes.  You can develop allergies to things that have never bothered you before.  You can also suddenly NOT be allergic to something that has bothered you before.  Also, allergies can come and go in severity.

        This is so true, allergies are the worst, and they are unexplainable. I recently developed an allergy to peanut butter, and I'm assuming peanuts as well, and I love peanut butter, but it's not worth the itchy eyes and runny nose.
