Once you have the pumpkin seeds, you need to wash the 'goop' off the seeds and rinse them in water thoroughly. Rub them between your palms while washing so all the goop comes off. You can use a several things to dry the seeds such as a ceramic bowl or a plate, a paper plate, a glass plate etc. just avoid leaving them to dry on a paper napkin as they permanently stick to the paper and also get mould. Even though the mould can be washed off, you should avoid keeping the seeds to dry in closed dump places as they get mould. While the seeds are left out be dry, keep swishing them around a little so they do not stick to the plate.
