Suppose That A Robot Was Created Whose Behavior Was Indistinquishable From That Of A Human Being. Should Such A Robot Be Given The Same Rights As A Human Being? Why Or Why Not?

    No, I believe a robot shouldn't have the same rights as a human being, because they weren't created by God.

      Behavior in and of itself is not the measure of humanity.  Aside from the good they do, humans kill, steal, rape, and destroy.  If your robot did these things, why would we want to adopt it into our race?  On the other hand if your robot didn't have drives and conscience it would be nothing more than an intelligent computer and probably wouldn't care how we regarded it anyway.  In short - if it is no better than human we wouldn't adopt it.  If it fought for rights we would treat it like Frankenstein and destroy it.

      A religious person might tell you that rights are bestowed by God on his children, not on their inventions.
