I Am About To Remarry Should I Make A New Will ?

Absolutely ! It is very important to make a new will if you are going to remarry. If you currently have a will then this would still be valid, even if it does not mention your spouse. If you have children from a previous relationship then it is right that you ensure that they are protected as well as your spouse.
If you die without a new will then your spouse could face a challenge to your estate under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants Act) of 1975. This gives your former spouse, if not remarried a claim to some of your estate as well as step children and your children.
Bereavement often brings out the worst in people and it can be very stressful for the deceased's spouse, so it is better to make a new will and ensure that your estate is divided up just how you want it.
