Can We Say That Money Is The Root Of All Evils?

Money causes many other types of social evils as well, one of them being, crime. Also in the quest for more and more income for the family, spouses keep on having children in the hope of having sons who will grow up, earn money for the family and support their parents when they are too old to work. This is only creates a burden on that but also a strain on the economy due to the increasing population. However, people overlook the problems created by them and look at the plus side of having more sons i.e. more income for the family. Due to this materialism and hunger for more and more money people are drawn away from their religion, due to which they loss their moral and social values. People forget the importance of sharing and they also develop a trait in their characters, which is, jealousy. Their envious nature is brought out due to which our values and the society as a whole suffer.

Keeping all these facts in consideration, the mind resort to one idea or concept, that is, 'money is the root of all evils'. If people valued their principles and morals over money the better and brighter side of society would be brought out which would only lead to more cordial relationships between people as their quest and hunger for money would be satisfied, therefore, leading to a decline in all the evils in our society.
