Where Is The New Wembley Stadium?

The Wembley stadium is a football ground situated in Wembley, London. The stadium is currently being reconstructed and is well behind schedule. After completion it is going to be one of the biggest roof-covered soccer stadiums in entire Europe. It is located exactly opposite Wembley Areana and is better known as Wembley.

Wembley Stadium is one of the most famous international football grounds. It has also been England's national stadium for soccer. In the year 2002 the original structure was taken down and, to be re-built and inaugurated in the year 2006 but later was rescheduled to the year 2007.

Initially known as the Empire stadium, the original structure was constructed for the British Empire Exhibition of 1924. The total cost to build the initial Wembley stadium was around 750,000 pounds.
