How Does One Contract AIDS?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

AIDS (Advanced Immuno Deficiency Syndrome) is the disease which riddles the body as an effect of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). The virus itself which leads to the disease can be contracted a number of ways - 1. through intercourse 2. sharing needles 3. unsterile medical instruments. This is why it is especially important to use contraceptives such as condoms during sexual encounters. Needles should never be shared (but frequently are) by drug users who inject themselves. Hospital workers can contract the virus if equipment has not been cleaned correctly.
