I found a site that you can ask the vet on, this site is $5.95 per question I think, small price to pay to help mom kitty out. Go to drlarrypetvet.com.

Here's another one, I think you might like it, purinaone.com/online_vet.asp-45. I didn't go to the site, but it's worth a try. The page that I looked at said it was free advice, you probably just have to type in is purinaone.com.

I would opt with purina to begin with, they're trusted, regardless of the food scare that happened. Hope this helps, good luck.

I know this sounds crazy but express her milk to relieve swelling, right after some how bandage a cabbage leaf on her. Cabbage will dry milk. Mastitas(spelling?) is dangerous, If her breasts are hard and engorged, hot too the touch, or if she is overly tired or acting out of character, get her help immedantly. It can set up serious infection. The cabbage takes about two days on humans, I would say change her bandages twice a day, feeling for heat and hardness, replacing the leaves. Keep a close watch on her, if your at work all day get someone else to check her at least once while your gone. Good Fortune, I hope she's better soon.
