Is The Career Of A Dancer A Good One?
Answers
A person has to decide at a very early age if he wants to be a dancer or not because dancing career is very limited and is very age dependant. Although no professional degree is required to become a dancer but proper physical fitness and stamina are two important things which a dancer needs to have.
One should remember that dancing career does not pay good enough; only if you take it as a part time job or a temporary job then it is alright. Only celebrity dancers can earn good money through popularity and media attention.
This job is very time consuming, back aching, tiring and exhausting and can be very frustrating if no job offers come in. however those people who like performing arts, theatres and music enjoy a lot while dancing and do not really care about the money they earn. So it basically depends on a person's interest and skills.
It is very hard to be a part of a good musical production company and work for operas, musical theatres and other things, although they can pay off good in the end, along with other benefits such as paid food, free clothes, rent and meeting star dancers.
