    Clinical psychology is the application part of psychology which focuses on the assessment of mental health problems, promotion of scientific research, and development of psychological care in both individualized and societal context. The major three perspectives associated with clinical psychology practices involve the psychodynamic approach, cognitive and behavioural approach and humanistic approach. The area of clinical psychology deals with intellectual, behavioural, emotional, biological, psychological, interpersonal and social aspects of an individual in a given system. It also encompasses the importance of dynamic pattern of human growth and development throughout the life span influenced by varying culture and different socio-economic levels.

    A clinical psychologist may deal with the following cases:-

    Addiction,
    Depression,
    ADHD,
    Mental Deficits and Disorders,
    Schizophrenia,
    Autism,
    Down syndrome,
    Eating disorders,
    Stress and anxiety,
    Sexual abuse,
    Domestic violence,
    Suicidal attempt,
    Sleep disorders,
