    Nigeria is basically a federal constitutional republic. It has 36 states and a federal capital territory. Nigeria is situated in the Western Africa. It has its borders with Republic of Benin towards the west, Chad and Cameron towards the east and Niger towards the North.

    The government system of Nigeria is modelled after the United States. The President of Nigeria, Umaru Musa has all the executive powers. This President is elected through a popular vote for a four year term.
