How Do I Format Acer Aspire C Drive?
How do I go about formatting c drive after virus crashed my acer aspire 3003WLMi - the acer supplied recovery disks are of little to no use as they only want to put back all windows xp sp2 files & setup as it was when purchased, this does not get rid of the virus and auto diallers that seem to re-install themselves, I need a clean c drive to do a fresh install and go from there - help please

You will have to use a separate xp sp2 cd .Just put it in the laptop and go to bios and select cd drive as 1st boot device.After that the xp setup will run and follow the on screen instructions.It will ask you to format drive c so answer yes.
