Why Do Dogs Drag Their Butt?
My dog that I dogsit always is dragging his butt, I'm just wondering, what does that mean?

Well, dogs normally do this in order to express their anal sacs. Presence of tapeworms can be another reason as they create itching in anal area when their broken segments come out through feces. Also keep a close look if it is due to fleas. You will have to use flea powder immediately to control them

If swelling occurs then the vet may need to express the anal sacs because they are blocked. Other wise i would follow the suggestions from your first answer.
