Why Is A Sloth Slow?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A sloth is slow because of its diet, because they mainly eat vegetation, which doesn't give them the same amount of energy as meat and grains do, so they generally sleep a lot and move very slowly. Other examples of diets slowing down animals are the koala bear and the giant panda.
