What Is A Come Bet In Craps?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A Come bet is a bet in craps that can only be made during a points roll. The points roll can be determined by the puck status; if the puck is on it is a points roll. If the puck is off, a Come bet can not be made. To make the bet, place the chip on the clearly marked Come section of the table.

When the dice is rolled after the bet is placed, three outcomes are possible. The bet will win if the shooter rolls a 7 or 11, and the bettor will receive even money.  The bet will lose if 2, 3 or 12 are rolled and the chip will be removed. If any of the points numbers are rolled (4,5,6,8,9, or 10) then the Come point has been established.

If a come point is established, the chip is moved to the box where the point number is clearly marked. To win the Come bet, the shooter needs to roll the come point. If a 7 is rolled, the Come bet will lose.
