Anyone Have A Remedy For Chronic Fatigue Syndrome That Actually Works?

Answer Question

Sorry, I don't have a remedy, but I want to comment that, in my case, what I thought to be fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue 16 years ago turned out to be an advanced case of lymphoma cancer hidden under my ribs.  (I got well after intense medical treatment.)

What I thought to be fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue two years ago turned out to be food sensitivities: My immune system was attacking certain foods (rice, wheat, soy, etc.)  A blood test showed what foods were being targeted, and I got better by avoiding the offending foods.

    Good luck to you.

Yes for me my Dr .prescribed    PROVIGIL  (narcolepsy medication) although i do not have narcolepsy is keeps me awake and very alert seems to also help my brain fog as is so common with fibro.it does not make you crash at the end like coffee, sodas or  any energy drink you could possible buy otc.  Now i caution you the only side effects of this drug for me is you can't sit still hurting or not if its in your system you will do something trust me. At the beginning that was the worst thing for me because i hadn't moved for so long and was using a walker just to take care of my 4 children and a husband in the military.  I was one to never ask for help.i took as prescribed on day one a 1/2 pill, within 15-20 min by body woke up and Screamed GO! Well this was new to me so i tried to just lay there and ignore it, it would go away ( i thought) wow was i wrong. Get up i did and with vengeance, i had a recumbent bike in the living room (you know the kind that looks like a lounge chair with pedals? Yea that kind).well by george i scooted my tail over and went to town pedaling away and away and away at this point my kids thought i was crazy that i had finally snapped and they should call someone. I just laughed like a giddy school girl riding to school for the first time (without mom behind her). One hr on that bike. I paid for that ride big time and didn't take that pill again till i went to the Dr. To tell him i hurt like heck and that i wasn't taking it again.he just laughed at me and said isn't that what you prayed for? To have enough energy to play with your family at the park watch you daughter on the slide and know you can run to her if she falls.Yes thats exactly what i prayed for.i have been taking pro vigil now for 8 yrs and i still play with my  children.i just know my limitations and take it slower than a 3k race.
