Life in general is what you make of it. If you want to be happy, then you will strive to do the things that will make your future and outcome happier. Of course, if you want to get married, and share your life with another, then you will seek out a partner that will compliment you, and your life together.
We are here on the earth, because God created us. He said: Go forth and fill the earth. So really, He expected us to get married, and have children. God never intended for us to be poor, or have a bunch of bills, with is sometimes more than people can actually bear.

It would be really nice to know for sure, wouldn't it? Of course, there are a lot of people who think they know the answer.
I can only tell you one thing for sure: anyone who tells you that they actually do know the meaning of life, why we are here etc, is not telling the truth. Not necessarily lying: it's just that we actually have no way of knowing, 100%, whether there is any "ultimate purpose" or not, and if anyone thinks they have discovered concrete evidence of this, the whole world would love to hear it. (By the way; the fact that we exist is NOT evidence that we must have been created. If it were, then someone must have made the creator too...and so on.)
Each life has to find its own meaning and its own purpose. Being alive on this beautiful planet is a wonderful thing, for all the horrors. I hope you find good goals, etc, in your own life anyway.

Ok. I ask this question for the unbeliever and I wont argue w/you. Who told you that lie? Is there one person who has come face to face w/the person who created the creator? What wisdom do you trust, man or God? I know plenty of humans that lie about alot, so they cant be fully trusted. And when it comes to words of wisdom, God is 1st as HIS WORD(not a book, but from HIS MOUTH) tells how he chose the foolish things to shame the wise(1 Corinthians 1:27) His wisdom outweighs worldly wisdom(vs 25).
