The equipment used to hit the golf ball in to the hole, in the sports Golf is known as a golf club which is made out of different materials depending on a person's requirement.

The golf club has three main categories which are woods, irons and putters. The club head, which is also known as the club face is designed with different shapes of faces having an angle between a vertical plane and the club face when the club is placed on ground. This angle, is also known as loft, is responsible for making the golf ball move on the ground and have a swing in it.

The movement of the golf ball depends all on the person's angle, style of hitting and especially the face of the club which will make it swing. The loft and the resulting trajectory are directly proportional, that is the greater the loft, the higher and shorter the ball will result.A set has 14 clubs and consists of three woods, a putter, two wedges and eight irons. Many companies have been manufacturing golf clubs in all styles to suit the golfer's preferences.
