    Even though time is an illusion,the smallest division up-to-date is known to be nanosecond.

      Vino is incorrect. As far as physicists know so far, there is no "smallest division" of time. It is like asking what the smallest division of the space between the numbers one and two is; you can keep slicing it up as much as you want. Also, we know for a fact that time can be measured down to at least attoseconds (10^-18 seconds) which are 10^9 (1,000,000,000) times smaller than nanoseconds.
