Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

An atom contains a proton, neutron and electrons. The proton and neutron together form nucleolus in which a proton has positive charge and neutron is neutral.
The electron contains negative charge which is occurring out side of the nuclei. It contains different shells and orbits. The shells are K, L, M, N, O, P and the orbits are s, p, d and f.
The orbits can hold only two electrons but sometimes it contains only one electron which is called valency electron.
