What Does The Attorney General Do?

    In most of the common law jurisdictions the Attorney General is known as the main legal advisor to the government and in some jurisdictions he may also have the addition have executive responsibility for many public prosecutions. The Attorney General in the United Kingdom is very similar to the law officer of the Crown in England and Wales and represents the government in courts.
