Which Is The Best 50inch Plasma TV?
I'm looking for a Plasma television, 50" in size, with high definition also capable of displaying an exceptional picture from a normal definition signal. My budget is $4000 (or 2000 GBP). It’s not important it has a digital receiver or on board speakers. Any suggestions please?

I got a Pioneer 50inch plasma, the Pioneer PDP-507XD for about 1800 GBP. It has a great picture on all signals and looks very attractive in its black slim case.
For those wanting the geeky information it has a contract ratio of 4000:1, a resolution of 1365 x 768 pixels, 2 HDMI inputs and a PC input. Also video processing and a digital (DVB-T) tuner (which wasn't that important to you).
It works great for me, the picture is crystal clean and a great viewing size, so I would definitely recommend it.
