    Defeating Venus Williams, Serena Williams won the women's singles at Wimbledon 2003 against her elder sister. Along with being the former no.1 tennis player, Serena Williams is also a winner of several Grand Slam singles and is a professional women's tennis player. Winning the Australian open in 2003 against her sister, she won her fourth grand slam singles title, thus marking her self as the only women to ever win for grand slam events in a row.

    Along with her much appreciated work as a player Serena Williams was also a part of entertainment and would be quiet talked about in regards to fashion. She not only appeared on the Simpson's tennis themed episode along with her sister but she also acted as a model for a sports illustrated swimsuit advertisements. And to top it all Welsh Indie band , Super furry animals, dedicated a track to the William sisters called "Venus and Serena" based on their 2003 album, phantom power. Thus along with being known for her colorful and unusual dressing on the court, she was also known as a great woman tennis player making it a perfect mixture of fame and game.
