It is natural behavior of the puppy to do this type of business either trained or not previously. Now you should do following things.

    • Remove any paper, blanket, towel or other things used for comfort leaving crate bare.
    • If you are using large size crate then use smaller in which she find less room for such activities.
    • reduce her evening food and water in order to reduce night peeing.
I hope these actions will help you a lot.

No offense but I don't think that's what the puppy needs. It's quite possible that it is just nervous and stressed. Taking away it's comfort is going to make things worse. Also the puppy may not be able to control it and may feel like you're punishing him.

Don't worry. Puppies have accidents from time to time. It happens. If the puppy just got spayed it may be from stress. Dogs, especially puppies often pee more when stressed. (Wouldn't you be if someone took you to some crazy place and performed all kinds of surgery on you without your knowing?)
Just give your puppy lots of love and understand that it probably will act a little oddly after having surgery. This is normal. Unless the dog is acting sluggish or other wise not well, your dog is just suffering from a somewhat traumatic experience and may take time to adjust.
