    The Golden Eagle is the National bird of Mexico. It belongs to the family Accipitridae and is recognized as Mexico's official national bird. It has an average wingspan of about 2 m and is an endangered species. It's diet includes mice, hare, rodents and sometimes other birds, young of lambs and deer, foxes. It has sharp teeth capable of tearing large prey and they are avian apex predators, being at the top of their food chain.

      Actually, the national bird of Mexico is the Crested Caracara, a large raptor closely related to the falcon family.
