Ok... You didn't quite give us enough information here... Is your PS2 an old bulky unit, or one of the slim units?

It makes a difference, as the slim unit comes with networking built in, while the older bulkier form does not.

If you have the slim style, you will simply need a hub or router to allow your system to be connected to your existing internet connection (I recommend a router, as many internet providers isolate the MAC address of the single computer intended to use the connection, keeping the connection from being used with multiple computers or pcs and game systems, but if you get a router, then tell them you have a new computer [in fact the router] that you want to have as the provided system, you will be golden for multiple system use)... You would then look up the step-by-step instruction from Sony telling you how to configure your system for internet connectivity, and you are good to go...

Just remember, there aren't all that many PS2 games made for internet play, and you will only be able to play with other gamers that have decided to get online with the same game you go on with...

    Best of luck to you!

    Ja ne!
